Lake Estes Looking Towards the Stanley HotelLake Estes Trail, Estes Park, CO

Lake Estes Trail is an easily accessible trail that is close to downtown Estes Park.  We accessed this trail just behind the visitors center, but it can also be accessed at several other points around Estes Lake, including the Lake Estes Marina.  The trail makes a 3.75 miles loop around the lake and provides incredible views of the Rockies, the town of Estes Park, and the Stanley Hotel, a prominent feature overlooking the town of Estes Park.

The trail is very easy and allows both hiking and mountain biking.  Dogs are also allowed.  Restrooms are available along the trail.  This is a great trail if you're looking for a casual stroll in Estes Park, without having to go to more strenuous nearby trails in Rocky Mt. National Park.

Hiking the Appalachian Trail is a lifelong dream for many outdoor enthusiasts. While some have managed to traverse it from end to end, others have taken advantage of vacations in the comfort of Marriott timeshare to tackle this gargantuan trail in small increments. Fortunately timeshare for sale are located all along the East Coast and can be easily traded as you make your way from Georgia peaches to Maine blueberries.
