Mt. Margaret View1 Hiking Mount Margaret Trail in Red Feather Lakes, CO

The Mount Margaret Trail is a relatively popular trail for the small town of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado.  During the winter months snow can be prominent and make this trail a little difficult, but otherwise it’s relatively flat and easy.  And the view makes it well worth the hike.

The trail starts off behind the trail sign at the entrance of the parking lot.  We’ve passed this trail several times and avoided it due to its popularity in the prime summer months, and the tendency for it to be muddy at the trail entrance.
