Soderberg Open Space - Fort Collins, CO
The Soderberg Open Space is adjacent to the Horsetooth Mountain trail system and the trails within this area connect with those of Horsetooth, as well as those of the Lory State Park. This is a beautiful area that takes you much closer to the Horsetooth Reservoir than any of the previous trails. The hike starts near the remnants of an old ranch built sometime in the late 1800's or early 1900's. The terrain is mostly easy to moderate and is accessible to hikers, bikers, and those on horseback.
